El Govern eleva un 6,4 por ciento el techo de gasto para 2018, hasta los 4.806.500.000 euros

Every year my wife and me spend in Mallorca a week holiday in september. We are always enjoying our stay in Mallorca. Today I read the article about the raise of the ecotasa. It is not the amount of money that struck me as a tourist (although tourists quickly adapt their choises when it is getting to expensive) but the idea behind the decision: tourists bother us to much, they cause only trouble, there are to many. If it is really the ideology to prevent to many tourists coming to Mallorca then the "Govern" has to take more draconian measures and raise the ecostasa so much that a lot of tourists don't visit Mallorca anymore or stop further investments and reduce the offer to holidayposibilities. Then Mallorca is free from trouble etc. If it's only a easy way to fill he gap in de budget then the reasoning of the "Govern" is a the tourist as troublemaker a sophism.
